Book review

This book is about a guy named Arthur who is in a group of orphans. They go on a ferry to Australia and then they go to a place with his mate and try to escape. Then they go to a lady's house. After that they go to a yacht making company. Then it's all very dramatic and happy. The second part is Arthur's son telling his story and his dream is to sail to America to find Kitty but then dramaticness happens.

The main part of the story is that he is trying to find his sister Kitty who gave him a key when he was 5. Now he believes that the key is good luck and he wants to find Kitty.

My Awesome Holiday at Sparks and Arcs

Suddenly I wake up "ahhh"  Nick was staring at me. Hurry up he told me. We quickly scoffed our breakfast then we were away to sparks and arcs at the Canterbury university. We met Jordan there then it was like going though a maze blindfolded. But finally we found it. 

Holy shoot I thought there was a really really high room all made of dark wood all over you could fit about 6 elephant in there it was massive. There were so many different inventions such as robots that follow lights and ones that follow duck tape, they had a ball on a Piece of glass and a camera kept the ball on the glass. 

Next we went in to the high voltage lab and the sigh on the door said that there was 2.5 million volts. So we all were a little nervous. They tiny pitch black curtains started to close. But the lights were still on then they explained about how they got all the power. 

Then they got two humungous sphere one above and one underneath. They put them closer and closer then SNAP a rather large shook was in between the two spheres. It was incredible. They showed use some other things and then we went home.

Ben's Cooking

For one of my home learning projects I did cooking and I presented it on my blog, here it is.

First line a 25 cm tin with baking paper

Next you need to get your ingredients. You need...

250g butter softened

1 1/2 cups sugar

4 eggs

1 tsp vanilla essence

4 bananas peeled and mashed

2 tsp baking soda

1/2 cup hot milk

2 tsp baking powder

3 cups of flour

                                                                                                                                  

Then beat butter and sugar in a huge bowl

                                                                                 

                     

                                       Then add the eggs and the vanilla essence. After add the bananas.

Then dissolve the baking soda in hot milk and pour it over the mixture.

 After sift the baking powder and the flour the fold till no flour is showing

  Then scrape into your prepared tin and cook for 1 hour.

Icing

How to make the icing

 1 Tbsp cocoa

1 Tbsp butter

2 Tbsp boiling water

1/2 tsp vanilla

1 cup icing sugar

                           MOVIE WORLD THE GREEN LANTERN

Immediately we ran to the green lantern. Oh no there a 15 minute wait before we can go on it. We quickly got in the line before it got to big. When we got in the line the more I watched it the more I thought it would be more and more scary. 

Finally it was our turn we had got to the front of the line in only five minutes but by now the line was massive. We got on it and we got the front seat yay we can see where we are going to go. But the sun is sooo hot it's burning my legs. 

After that we finally start moving and then we clinmb up to the  top we could see a huge view and we could just see the top of the tower of terrier. Then before you know it you are shooting down vertical. Wow that was awesome and before you no it its over. It was sooo cool. I just wanted to do it again and again.
